The blog is a way to instantly reach its distribution network

You regularly have new ideas or suggestions, which urgently need to be shared with your downlines or at least with the prospects. Of course, you could call them all (how much time and money it will take?) Or arrange delivery of e-mail (are all of your distributors regularly check e-mail, even if we assume that your email did not go to spam?), But the blog is more effective in this case. You can communicate this information through the social network once and anyone and everyone can look at your blog. It's that simple - they don't have to subscribe to anything, just follow the link. Now, you do not even have to have a computer - you can use your cell phone.

It is also important that people will be able to meet you, commenting on your info. Others will see these comments and any article could become a useful discussion.

The blog is a method of self organization

If suddenly you do not have enough motivation to stop being lazy and start working actively, your blog will help you. Plan publicly - write about your plans, what are you going to do and in what period of time. Responsibility to your readers will force you to act. Declare your plans regularly, do not relax. You turn your work in reality shows, your personal success story will be written directly in front of others. It is possible that more experienced colleagues will help you in their comments.

The blog is anonymous to the audience

Did you meet people that are embarrassed of their own interest in network marketing? I did. Public opinion presses on them so that they are embarrassed to come to another meeting, but they want to do it. Because they are interested. This interest eventually could be converted into an excellent result. But how to establish contact with these people, if they are shy to communicate on the network marketing?Write the address of your blog on your business card. People will be able to monitor your development in MLM as long as they want, and one day they will realize that they are on the road with you and your business - contact is already established. And you will have a partner whom no longer you have to explain the nuts and bolts. He is already sold.

“Blogging empowers individuals with a tool that generates income and provides an outlet to communicate with the rest of the world.”

Everyone has a different opinion of how to explain what a blog is. Here is couple of the explanations:

"A weblog is a hierarchy of text, images, media objects and data, arranged chronologically, that can be viewed in an HTML browser."

"From “Web log.” A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is “blogging” and someone who keeps a blog is a “blogger."

"A weblog is kind of a continual tour, with a human guide who you get to know. There are many guides to choose from, each develops an audience, and there’s also comraderie and politics between the people who run weblogs, they point to each other, in all kinds of structures, graphs, loops, etc."

"A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is “blogging” and someone who keeps a blog is a “blogger.” Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly".

Before we will continue to try to figure out what is the blog, I would like you to watch a video that explores the question of what is a blog in a visual form that I’m sure many of you will find helpful.

So, what the blog realy is? “Blog" is an abbreviated version of "weblog", which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring jornal-type commentary and links to articles on other Web sites.

What is the difference between Blog and Website?

If the blog is a Website, why then not to have a Website? What the difference between blog and Website? The major difference between them is that awebsite just sts there most of the time. Once you’ve got a website up, you will have to promote it. Website promotion is getting tougher all the time, because there are billions of them there now, and they are not any big deal anymore. The blog, on the other hand, has a capacity to anounce itself, and keep doing that every time you update. Right now there millions the people all around the would activly looking for blogs.

Another thing that makes a blog such a good idea is that it does not require specialized knowledge. Once you got it up and running, then daily (weekly, monthly, or whenever you feel like blogging) updates take about the same time as writing and sending email.

What’s this you all are raving about? Why Blogging?

Really, why anybody would want to blog? Because you want to attract attention to you and to the product you want to promote. Attention is a traffic, influence, and the potential to make money (monetize) from the blogging.

There are two major ingredients for attracting attention – writing a good content and marketing .

No one wants to read a blog that is made up of nothing but advertisements, paid reviews and affiliate promotions. They want to read a blog that enhances their lives . Your primary motivation when producing content is to focus on enhancing the lives of your readers. After reading your blog they should feel good . Also focus on helping, educating and entertaining through your words and you will have the building blocks – your pillars – for a successful blog. Always remember the traffic formula:

                          Content + Marketing = Traffic
Did you know that some blogs receive over one million visitors each month? This is a kind of traffic we all dream of for our blogs. One of the ways to increase the traffic is to make a Social Media work for you. You can use Twitter, FriendFeed, Digg, StumbleUpon, and other free Social sites to promote your Blog.
